Reminder: Please remember to turn in your Box Tops, Milk Caps and Campbell’s labels by February 16. There are boxes in the kitchen at school, or you may put them in the ladies’ mailboxes at church.
Fundraising Search Engine: The Goodsearch fundraiser, discussed at Ladies School Circle, has been set up. If you go to www.goodsearch.com and click on the “choose your charity” link – type in Faith Christian School and find us. At the next screen you can sign up with email or Facebook, or simply close out by clicking the X; and then begin searching just as you would if using Google or Yahoo. Each time you go online to do a search begin at Goodsearch, rather than Yahoo. We suggest you make this your homepage so that you do not forget to use it. An email will be forthcoming to the congregation with all the details, if you have questions feel free to contact Marisa, Jenn, or Sandee.
Kringles: The Ladies School Circle Kringle fundraiser is now in progress. Kringle forms are available at school, and look for one in your church mailbox. Orders need to be in by Mon., Feb. 11. Pick up day is Thurs., Feb. 21. Contact Amy or Jody with any questions.
School security: Parents, if your children use the ice rink after school hours or on the weekend, we ask that you please check not only the front entry doors are locked, but also the door off the ball room. Over this past weekend we had neighborhood kids going into school and taking out sports equipment to play with it. There have been other times in the evening when I have come back to school and found the ball room door unlocked.
Gallon Milk Jugs: We are looking forward to doing an all school project in a couple of months that will require hundreds of gallon milk jugs and caps. (If you collect the milk caps, we will be sure to turn those in after the project.) In order to complete this project we need your help in collecting as many gallon milk jugs as we can. Please rinse out your milk jugs and do not compact them. If you are able to store them all until we need them, that would be appreciated and we will let you know when to bring them to school. If you do not have the space for them, please contact Mike Vander Veen about where to bring them. Thanks for your efforts.
Conferences: Parent-Teacher Conferences will be Tuesday, Feb. 12.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Logan Kooiker on Thursday, Feb. 7, and to Micah Alderden on Tuesday, Feb. 12!
