Pizza Lunch:  The pizza lunch has been rescheduled for Friday, May 18.

Hot Lunch:  Connie & Sarah will be serving hot lunch on Wednesday, May 16.  The menu includes baked potato bar, finger jello, apples & caramel dip, cookies & bars.

Summer Activity Books:  Activity books for your child to use during the summer from Summer Bridge (9.95+shipping) or from Evan-Moor Educational Publishers (12.99+shipping) are available.  If you would like to order books for your children, please email to the address above today. 

School Picnic:  The school picnic will be on Friday, May 25.  Lunch will start at 11:30.  Please choose what you would like to bring on the sign-up sheet at church.

Ice Skates:  Please remember to take your children’s skates home for the summer.

A couple things from the Library Comittee:  May 18 will be the last day any books can be checked out from the library.  In addition, parents and students, please check over the library list emailed every week and work together to get the books back in the library by the end of the school year.  There are still several books missing from 6+ months ago.  If you do not receive the weekly emails, we can get you a printed copy to review.  Any books not returned will have to be replaced. 8th grade Program:  The 8th graders are sponsoring a program at 7:30 pm tomorrow, May 3, at Randolph PRC.  The program will include the Upper Room singing a few numbers and taking requests from the audience.  After singing, Mr. Eugene Braaksma will present his slide show on his trip to Africa.  Refreshments will follow in the church basement.  A collection will be taken to help cover the cost of music.  Any additional monies will be used for the class gift and trip.

Chapel/Open House:  The Lower Room Chapel program will be this week Friday, at 8:30am.  All students should be at church by 8:20am.  Lower Room students should meet in the basement & will sit with their teacher, all other students will sit with their parents.  Refreshments and an Open House at school will follow until 10:30am.  All are invited to attend.

Car Box Day:  On Friday, April 13, we will have a Car Box Day.  Students should transform a box into some type of transportation.  Students should use their imagination and creativity.  We will have a “parade” of the cars at some point that day.There is cardboard for the car box day here at school if anyone would like some for free.  It will be here until Friday, March 30 and then it will be tossed.

Fang’s Reading Club:  We began Fang’s Reading Club this week so that students can earn a free ticket to a Wisconsin Timber Rattler game on Saturday, April 14, 2012 @ 1p.m.  Each teacher has set an appropriate goal for the students in their room.  It is the parent’s and student’s responsibility to turn in their signed cut-outs on time EACH WEEK.  Part of this program is teaching students to be responsible and to turn things in on time.  Teachers will not accept all four weeks cut-outs turned in at the end.
